On 29 November – 1 December 2016, Moscow hosted The Fourth International Conference and Exhibition ExpoCityTrans. It’s Russia’s major event devoted to the advancement of public transit, organised by the International Association of Public Transport (UITP) with support of the Moscow City Government. The primary objective of ExpoCityTrans-2016 was to promote qualitative changes in the development of the transport systems of Russian cities, and to encourage the emergence and delivery of new services for passengers.
The travel management company Promo Travel provided the complete travel support for the guests of the event and organized entertainment activities.
Two among the best hotels in Russia - «Ritz Carlton» in Moscow and «Astoria» in Saint-Petersburg were the Venues for the conference and for accommodation.
About 70 participants from 17 countries of the world took part in the extensive business and cultural program. Guests with professional interest tested Moscow Metro, Aeroexpress, monitored operation of snowplows and road condition, and we have sent the most inquisitive on Sapsan to St. Petersburg.
In addition to transportation facilities, the guests inspected the cultural and historical sights of the two capitals, imbued with the spirit of Russian musical art at the Mariinsky Theater, and tried Russian cuisine.
For many of the guests it was the first visit to Russia, and there are all chances that it is not the last.
